Firehole River Crossing
18" x 36" Oil On Gallery Canvas
Original Painting Sold
An original oil painting of a herd of bison crossing the Firehole River with the steam rising. The Firehole river is fed by runoff hot springs, therefore creating it's own steamy fog. The painting depicts the herd coming out of the misty fog as they cross the river. On my previous trips across country, loved watching the many buffalo herds in the Dakotas and out west.
